How To Survive The Real Estate Downturn – The Funded Proposal Concept

Every month I talk to over 100 real estate brokers with an average of 5 real estate agents or sales people on their team and the message is almost always the same.

Unfortunately for a lot of agents they have not learned the principles of making money no matter what the market and now they are paying the price.

“How’s the market/real estate business?”

“Oh, great!” “Are you looking at buying or selling your home?”

Boring, boring. Liar, liar, pants on fire!!

 

Come on do you REALLY think people believe you. Read the paper, watch the news. It’s all bad. US, Europe – bankrupt. So why say such stupid things as the real estate market is great.

 

But I realise you need to make money TODAY if you are going to survive this thing called a tough market. Now I don’t know if or when the market is going to turn around (hey stop all that wishful thinking garbage – you are out of your mind if you think it’s happening in the next 3, 6 months), but you need a plan to stay financially afloat.

 

And this is where the funded proposal comes in. What if you could offer a product/service at a low, low price that people want (it’s part of a $7 billion industry – yeah people want it alright), that can be used to build your real estate business into a cash dripping machine and you as an agent could earn some commissions along the way.
